Site Area :
Situated between two beaches on the island of Mahe, the site overlooks the National Marine Park of Port Launay.
The masterplan and landscape design for 225 suites and 53 villas required protecting a number of rare and exotic plants including a mangrove reserve.
The site masterplanning was inspired by the form of whirlpools. This inspiration came from the fact that the peninsula was created by sedimentary deposits which accumulated over to time to merge two islands. Indeed, this process occurred as a result of whirlpool action over thousands of years.
